Choral Club of San Diego Joins All Souls’ Church for 2014 Point Loma Home Tour

San Diego, November 18, 2014—

Choral Club of San Diego will team with All Souls’ Presbyterian Church in Point Loma to perform at the annual Saint Nicholas Home Tour. Choral Club, San Diego’s oldest continuously-operating women’s chorus, will provide holiday entertainment for visitors to the Home Tour Marketplace and All Souls’ church on December 6, 2014.

Choral Club will present a selection of holiday and seasonal songs outdoors in the courtyard of the church at 1:30pm on December 6th, while Home tour visitors enjoy the St. Nicholas Café, and the Christmas Marketplace. Choral Club singers will then perform a longer set at 2:15pm in the church’s magnificent main sanctuary. Songs will include holiday classics, mid-century American standards and seasonal music, performed by the complete choir and select soloists.

The partnership between All Souls’ Church and Choral Club of San Diego began in mid-2014 when Choral Club and moved its rehearsals to the church. The two organizations have plans to mount additional community performance projects in Point Loma in the future.

The Home Tour performance on December 6th is one of two public concerts by Choral Club this season. The organization’s semi-annual Concert & Champagne Reception Fundraiser will be held Saturday, December 20th at 7pm at Liberty Hall Theatre at Paradise Village in National City.
