Family-friendly Choral Club of San Diego Concert Honors Women Who Serve
San Diego, May 23, 2016—
Choral Club of San Diego will close their spring concert season with a family-friendly pre-Memorial Day Weekend Concert on Thursday, May 26th, at The North Chapel, Liberty Station.
The concert event, “Great American Road Trip,” will honor women who serve, both active military women and women in military families. The concert evokes travel around the USA with songs like “Route 66,” “New York, New York,” “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “Surfin’ Safari,” “and medleys from “Chicago,” and “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.”
The concert will be held at the beautiful North Chapel at Liberty Station Marketplace, on the site of the former Naval Training Center San Diego, at 2881 Roosevelt Rd, San Diego, CA 92106. The concert includes performances by CCSD scholarship winners, special guests, raffle prizes, and a silent auction. Proceeds benefit Choral Club of San Diego and Armed Services YMCA San Diego Programs.
