CCSD Holiday Concert and Fundraiser

CCSD’s annual Holiday Concert features a performance of seasonal and holiday music sung by members of Choral Club of San Diego. Party and fundraiser follows with desserts, raffle, and silent auction. $10 admission at the door.

The party will include beverages and delicious finger-foods, and offer an opportunity to mix with the singers–almost all very nice women over 50, much like ourselves. Raffle and silent auction donors include Starbucks, The Cheesecake Factory, Total Woman Gym and Curves Gym, Harbor House Restaurant, Edgewater Grill, Hash-House a Go Go, PF Chang’s, California Pizza Kitchen, Trader Joe’s, Fresh & Easy, Sycuan Resort and Golf, La Jolla Fitness Personal Training, Richard Joseph Salon, Milagro Winery, and more.

Raffle tickets will be on sale at the event: $5 each or 3 for $10.

Proceeds go to support Choral Club of San Diego and its scholarship program.

CCSD Concert Tickets Available Online

For the first time, Choral Club of San Diego is making end-of-season concert tickets available online in advance.

Concert attendees can now purchase $10 tickets in advance of the December 15, 2012 End-of-Season Concert. The concert will be helped at 3pm, Saturday December 15, 2012, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church on Euclid Avenue, San Diego. The concert will be followed by a reception and party featuring refreshments, a gift raffle and a silent auction where participants can bid on special item packages (minimum $50 value). Each concert ticket includes one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased before the event*.

Choral Club 2012 Fall/Winter Season Begins Sunday

Choral Club of San Diego opens its 2012 fall/winter performance season Sunday November 25th. The organization’s first sing-out will be held at Emeritus of Carmel Valley Sunday, November 25th beginning at 2:30pm.

The CCSD season continues through December 15th with eight more performances at San Diego retirement communities, including Wesley Palms, Casa de Manana, Canyon Villas, Casa de Las Companas, Crest View Manor and more.

The 2012 Fall/Winter season culminates with the semi-annual CCSD End-of-Season concert.  Choral Club of San Diego will celebrate the holiday season with a joyous public concert and fundraising party December 15, 2012 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1370 Euclid Avenue, San Diego.

The concert begins at 3pm, followed by a reception and fundraising party at 4pm with refreshments, desserts and savories, a raffle and silent auction.  Attendees are encouraged to mingle with the talented Choral Club singer//volunteers, purchase raffle tickets, and bid on items in a silent auction.  Raffle and silent auction items have been donated by local businesses such as Milagro Winery, Sycuan Resort and Casino, The Cheesecake Factory, Hash House A Go Go, Harbor House Seafood Restaurant, Edgewater Grill, Curves, Total Woman Gym and Day Spa, The Original Pancake House, Fresh & Easy, Trader Joe’s and more.  Proceeds benefit Choral Club of San Diego and its scholarship program.

Choral Club joins AFSP for San Diego “Out of the Darkness” Walk

Choral Club of San Diego will join with the San Diego chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to commemorate the 2012 Out of the Darkness Walk. The walk takes place Saturday, October 20 between 9:00 and Noon at the beautiful Embarcadero Marina Park North near Seaport Village in downtown San Diego.

Choral Club members will sing at the closing ceremony.  The performance will include It’s a Wonderful World, Angels Through the Night, and Somewhere Out There. Listen to recordings of previous performances by clicking the links below.

Christmas Lites Recording
